Whether you’re imagining flowers throughout your venue or choosing a few meaningful pieces, there are two ways to work with me.

Bespoke Wedding Flowers

A personal floral design service shaped around your venue, your colours and the feeling you’d love to create. We’ll begin with a relaxed consultation, then meet at your venue for a walk-through so I can get a feel for the space, light and practical details. I’ll create a personalised Pinterest board to help us explore the look together, before bringing it to life through a thoughtful, bespoke floral design.

From bouquets and buttonholes to ceremony flowers, statement arches, staircases and reception arrangements, I’ll bring your ideas together into a cohesive floral story. I’ll take care of the agreed setup on the day, creating considered, memorable details that feel natural and completely at home in your venue.

Intimate Wedding Flowers

Not every wedding needs a full floral design service. If you’re planning a smaller celebration, a city ceremony, a relaxed restaurant reception or an intimate wedding with just a handful of your favourite people, this option is designed especially for you.

You’ll still get the same relaxed, garden-inspired Blossom & Wild style, with beautiful seasonal flowers and plenty of care — just with a simpler, more flexible process.

Hello, I’m Karen

I’m the florist behind Blossom & Wild, based in York, North Yorkshire. I love to create relaxed, garden-inspired wedding flowers using seasonal blooms, natural movement and plenty of colour!

Before becoming a florist, I spent 15 years as a print designer. That creative background still shapes the way I work today, from combining colours and textures to noticing the little details that bring everything beautifully together.

I love getting to know the people behind each wedding: what you’re drawn to, what matters most to you and how you want your day to feel. You might arrive with a whole collection of ideas or simply a favourite colour. Either way, I’ll help you turn that starting point into flowers that feel personal, meaningful and completely at home in your venue.
