Flowering at the beautiful Howsham Hall, North Yorkshire.

There are some wedding venues that you just love coming back to, and Howsham Hall is definitely one of them.
I absolutely love to flower there. There’s something about the whole place that makes it such a joy to work in — the beautiful surroundings, the character of the hall and that wonderfully relaxed atmosphere.
One of my favourite things about wedding flowers is that no two weddings need to look the same. I love working with each couple to create something that feels personal to them, while also making the most of the season and the beautiful setting at Howsham Hall.

From classic garden roses and gorgeous hydrangeas to modern, colourful dahlias, I love working with what’s naturally available at the time of your wedding. Seasonal flowers bring so much character and movement to a wedding, and there’s something really special about embracing what’s looking beautiful right now.
And colour is what I love to play with most.
Before becoming a florist, I worked as a print designer for many years, so colour has always been a huge part of my creative world. I love putting unexpected colour combinations together, playing with different tones and textures, and creating flowers that feel joyful and full of personality.
The ceremony room at Howsham Hall
For me, wedding flowers aren't just about making a space look pretty. They help create the feeling of the day — from the first glimpse of your bouquet, to walking into the ceremony, and then sitting down for the wedding breakfast surrounded by flowers, candlelight and all those lovely little details.
And that's why I love flowering at Howsham Hall so much. It feels relaxed, personal and full of character, giving me the perfect setting to create natural, seasonal and colourful wedding flowers.
If you're planning your wedding at Howsham Hall and are looking for relaxed, natural florals with plenty of colour and personality, I'd love to hear all about your plans.
